Intermediate Course
From Saturday, 3 April 2027 to Thursday, 8 April 2027
Designed for surgical residents in years 3–5, the Intermediate Course builds on fundamental surgical skills and provides an excellent preparation for the surgical board examination.
The program combines advanced theoretical teaching with intensive practical training in open and laparoscopic gastrointestinal surgery. Particular emphasis is placed on operative strategy, surgical decision-making, management and prevention of complications, and the safe performance of common gastrointestinal procedures.
Interactive case discussions, panel sessions, and hands-on exercises allow participants to translate theoretical knowledge into surgical practice.

Registration for the course is only possible online. The course fee needs to be paid immediately after completing the registration. Supported payment options are Credit Card (VISA, Mastercard) and TWINT (for swiss residents only).
If you do not pay the fee, your registration will be hold as a reservation for 3 days. You may finalize the payment at any time. After 3 days, your registration will be cancelled and you need to restart the registration.

Cancellation
Withdrawal from an event must be made in writing and is free of charge up to eight weeks before the start of the event. Cancellation after eight weeks prior to the event will incur a cancellation fee of CHF 200. In the event of a later cancellation (up to four weeks) or a non-appearance, the full participation fees shall be due. A substitute participant can be proposed.
