44th DavosCourse

IN GASTROINTESTINAL SURGERY

APRIL 03 ‐ 08, 2027
CONGRESS CENTER DAVOS, SWITZERLAND

Welcome to the DavosCourse 2027

Dear Surgeons, Dear Colleagues,

We're excited to invite you to the 44th Gastrointestinal Surgery Workshop 2027, taking place from April 3 to 8, 2027, in Davos, Switzerland.

NEW in 2027:

We are expanding the program with two dedicated modules in Proctology and Thoracic Surgery.

  • The Proctology module focuses on the full spectrum of everyday and complex anorectal disease – from common conditions such as haemorrhoids, fissures, and fistulas to advanced surgical strategies and complication management. Expect a strong hands-on component, practical tips for decision-making, and discussions on how to optimize outcomes in daily practice.

  • The Thoracic Surgery module offers a structured introduction and update on key thoracic procedures, including minimally invasive approaches, perioperative management, and interdisciplinary concepts. Designed for both newcomers and surgeons looking to broaden their skill set, it combines technical insights with case-based discussions and practical training.

The DavosCourse is built for both surgeons in training and experienced colleagues who want to sharpen their skills, stay up to date, and connect with peers from across Europe and beyond.

What to expect:

• High-yield teaching from leading experts – straight to the point, clinically relevant
• Interactive sessions, real case discussions, and hands-on training
• The latest updates in guidelines, techniques, and technology
• A unique learning atmosphere with real exchange – away from the daily routine

The DavosCourse combines top-level education, hands-on experience, and a strong international community – all in an inspiring alpine setting.

Kick off your 2027 surgical education year with us.

Looking forward to seeing you in Davos,
