We're excited to invite you to the 44^th Gastrointestinal Surgery Workshop 2027, taking place from April 3 to 8, 2027, in Davos, Switzerland.

Beyond the course programme, we invite you to discover the people and expertise behind the DavosCourse. In the detailed module information, you will find a personal video introduction to each module, presented by the module director. In each video, our experts provide an overview of what the module offers and what participants can expect. Below, you will also find valuable insights from specialists and opinion leaders in their surgical subspeciality who share their perspectives on their field of expertise and professional journey.

The DavosCourse 2027 offers two comprehensive training courses for surgical residents and seven specialized modules for advanced surgical training. The Basic and Intermediate Courses provide structured skills training and lectures tailored to different stages of surgical residency, while the Advanced Modules offer focused, hands-on training in specific fields of surgery.

Participants interested in robotic surgery can complement their course or module with a separate robotic training course.

NEW in 2027: 

We are expanding the program with a dedicated module in Proctology.

The Proctology module focuses on the full spectrum of everyday and complex anorectal disease – from common conditions such as haemorrhoids, fissures, and fistulas to advanced surgical strategies and complication management. Expect a strong hands-on component, practical tips for decision-making, and discussions on how to optimize outcomes in daily practice.

The DavosCourse is built for both surgeons in training and experienced colleagues who want to sharpen their skills, stay up to date, and connect with peers from across Europe and beyond.
