This advanced course in Upper GI surgery offers a dynamic program combining high-level lectures and hands-on training.
Highlights include sessions on benign disease management, surgical approaches to GERD, and malignancy-focused lectures featuring minimal invasive techniques. “Meet the Experts” rounds and complication case discussions enhance practical insights for experienced surgeons.Theoretical parts are combined with practical parts. Basic training in open surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery used in different GI-tract conditions. Additionally, topics like decision making, how to deal with or avoid complications. etc. are addressed in panel discussions and joint sessions.
