Basic course
From Saturday April 11 2026 - Thursday April 16 2026
Suited for residents in their first three years of training in surgery, urology, gynaecology, or pediatric surgery.
Theoretical parts are combined with practical parts. Basic training in open surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery used in different GI-tract conditions. Additionally, topics like decision making, how to deal with or avoid complications. etc. are addressed in panel discussions and joint sessions.
Open surgery:
Suture- and anastomosis techniques in the GI-tract with focus on small/large intestine and stomach.
Laparoscopic surgery:
Learning basic laparoscopic techniques.
