Basic course

Suited for residents in their first three years of training in surgery, urology, gynaecology, or pediatric surgery.
Theoretical parts are combined with practical parts. Basic training in open surgery and Laparoscopic Surgery used in different GI-tract conditions. Additionally, topics like decision making, how to deal with or avoid complications. etc. are addressed in panel discussions and joint sessions.
Open surgery:
Suture- and anastomosis techniques in the GI-tract with focus on small/large intestine and stomach.
Laparoscopic surgery:
Learning basic laparoscopic techniques.

Registration for the course is only possible online. The course fee needs to be paid immediately after completing the registration. Supported payment options are Credit Card (VISA, Mastercard) and TWINT (for swiss residents only).
If you do not pay the fee, your registration will be hold as a reservation for 3 days. You may finalize the payment at any time. After 3 days, your registration will be cancelled and you need to restart the registration.

Cancellation
Withdrawal from an event must be made in writing and is free of charge up to eight weeks before the start of the event. Cancellation after eight weeks prior to the event will incur a cancellation fee of CHF 200. In the event of a later cancellation (up to four weeks) or a non-appearance, the full participation fees shall be due. A substitute participant can be proposed.
