Robotic Training
Robotic surgery is an interesting and growing field also in visceral surgery. Starting in 2019 with the Da Vinci System at the industry booth we are enlarging the training options every year. In 2025 we will offer several training courses running additional to the regular schedule of the DavosCourse Modules Basic, Intermediate and Advance, but also include Robotic exercises in the new module Upper GI.
Virtual Reality Training
Surgical procedures have become more complex, requiring surgeons to quickly learn new skills without interfering with the operating room efficiency or jeopardizing patient care. The Davos Course therefore integrates Virtual Reality Training into the basic course, so that - alongside hands-on exercises - young surgeons get the training and practice that they need.
Participants in the basic course will join the Virtual Reality exercises as they are scheduled during the week, whereas surgeons in the intermediate and advanced courses may attend during the open time slots.
