Robotic Training
Robotic surgery is an interesting and growing field also in visceral surgery.
After introducing the Da Vinci System at the DavosCourse in 2019, we will again offer training courses and training options together with Intuitive for the upcoming course in 2024. The Robotic Courses will be running only additional to the regular schedule of the AGC Gastrointestinal Workshops Basic, Intermediate and Advance Course:
- Robotic Course A: First Assist - Certification
- Robotic Course B: Basic Simulation Training
- Robotic Course C: Certified Surgeons Intermediate Training
- Robotic Course D: Experience Training Colorectal & Hernia
More information about the course content and the registration will be available soon.

Virtual Reality Training

Surgical procedures have become more complex, requiring surgeons to quickly learn new skills without interfering with the operating room efficiency or jeopardizing patient care. The DavosCourse therefore integrates Virtual Reality Training into the basic course, so that - alongside hands-on exercises - young surgeons get the training and practice that they need.
Participants in the basic course will join the Virtual Reality exercises as they are scheduled during the week, whereas surgeons in the intermediate and advanced courses may attend during the open time slots.
