1. Registration
Registration for the GI Course Davos is handled by our partner Medworld AG. If you complete the registration for a course, you are obligated to pay the registration fee through the offered payment portal. Payment for the GI Course Davos is handled by our Partner Medworld AG and processed by SaferPay Worldline. Your registration through the website represents a binding offer to conclude a service contract with the Foundation for Gastroenterological Surgery (referred to as GI Course Davos). However, a written statement of acceptance and a definitive spot in the course will only come into effect upon the conformation of payment of the course fees. All registrations will be processed in the order in which they are received.

2. Participation fees
The participation fees must be credited to the GI Course Davos account before the start of the course. Travel and accommodation costs are not included.

3. Cancellation conditions
Withdrawal from an event must be made in writing and is free of charge up to eight weeks before the start of the event. Cancellation after eight weeks prior to the event will incur a cancellation fee of CHF 200. In the event of a later cancellation (up to four weeks) or a non-appearance, the full participation fees shall be due. A substitute participant can be proposed.

4. Event changes
We are entitled to make minor changes at any time with regard to the speakers, the event dates, the venues and the programmes.

5. The Right of Cancellation
We are entitled to cancel the course, even at short notice under special circumstances, especially if the minimum number of participants is not reached, and if other conditions essential for the course are changed. Participants who have already paid their participation fees will be refunded in full. Further claims, in particular claims for damages, are excluded. Please note this when making your travel and accommodation reservations.

6. Liability for training content
Despite our greatest intentions and care in the selection of our speakers, we cannot accept any liability for any of the event`s content or documents. We would like to point out that most course materials are generally protected by copyright.

7. Liability
Any liabilities for acts of God are excluded. This applies to all claims not regulated in these conditions. The organiser is liable for damages only in the event of intent or gross negligence. Liability is therefore excluded for any accidents during the arrival or departure to the event, and during the entire stay at the venue. This also includes personal injury and property damage and to theft of personal items during the event period.

8. Certificate of attendance & education training points
The confirmation of participation will be issued prior to the start of the training course. You will receive your training points by registering at the event location.

9. Personal Data
By registering, you agree that your personal data may be stored for the purpose of processing the event and for subsequent participant information. The GI Course Davos will under no circumstances pass on your personal data to any third parties. The only exceptions to this are service partners who work on our behalf in order to process the contract. The scope of this process limits the sharing of personal data to the necessary minimum.
